Salary range:
The salary for this position is $134,700. The posted Professorial Series (Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, In Residence, Ladder Rank) and Professor of Teaching Series - Health Sciences Compensation Plan, Scale 7 sets the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position will include membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

The Department Of Dermatology at University of California, Irvine is currently accepting applications for a research fellow for a one-year non-ACGME fellowship position.

Candidates must have an M.D., and be board-certified or board-eligible dermatology physicians. Candidates must apply or have a California Medical License and have demonstrated capabilities in teaching, professional service, and/or research.

The incumbent will participate in patient care, teach clinical programs, and work on current research projects related to dermatology disease and/or advancements in dermatology technology. The research fellow will function as a clinical instructor within the Department of Dermatology. In this role, the fellow will serve as attending physician and supervise residents and medical students during their clinical shifts.
