District Sales Manager - Greater Chicago Area 3664BR Sales Regular Job Description The District Sales Manager is responsible for providing management support to sales representatives (direct reports), working to source new items and vendors, managing district expenses, district sales growth, margin, and accounts receivable targets. Also directs the total sales effort toward achievement of the Territory/District goals and objectives and monitors daily sales activity in a given territory.
External Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, with 5+ years related experience in sales in the food service industry. The individual will possess proven leadership abilities, analytical skills, excellent communication skills and prior management experience of commissioned sales professionals. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Word, and Powerpoint). Ability to travel throughout assigned geographic or account based territory to support sales group and call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and provide ongoing sales support.
