Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this PositionROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a software engineer for General Dynamics Mission Systems in Quincy, MA, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art applications for unmanned undersea systems. You will work on software encompassing the full life-cycle of these systems, from embedded system control software to GUI-based topside software for planning and monitoring missions.
