We have a great opportunity for a motivated, solutions-driven Product Sales Specialist (electrical distribution and control product lines) with Eaton and Siemens product knowledge and application experience. This position is responsible for providing product knowledge, application solutions, and services by developing an excellent knowledge of our product offerings.

This position will be based out of the Eastlake branch.

How you will contribute:

  • Support our sales and customer solutions initiatives for all of Pepco's Ohio branch locations
  • Responsible for understanding Pepco's Electrical product offerings and be able to fully incorporate solutions utilizing these tools
  • Cross trained in all product areas and will need to provide general support to all customers
  • Work closely with inside and outside sales staff by supporting them on technology sales calls
  • Develops and enhances product knowledge, attending relevant training classes.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Engineering Technology, or closely related field; or an associate degree in a closely related field or equivalent academic training from a technical school with two years of sales support experience, or equivalent job experience as determined by Pepco.
  • Commitment to delivering industry leading customer service and a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales presentations.
  • Demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the industrial/commercial/contractor market.
  • Proven proficiency in the use of a computer accompanied by a strong aptitude for technical applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to present a professional appearance and maintain a clean and uncluttered vehicle. Proven safe driving record.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, including as a driver or passenger in an automobile.
  • Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh more than 25 lbs.
