FULL STACK DEVELOPER - (Python or PHP) Join a leading international hospitality company on a 6-month contract as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on backend development. This requires someone adept with Python or PHP, along with REST APIs and heavy back-end development. Experience with Databricks is advantageous and working experience with various platforms such as two or more of the following MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Oracle, Redshift, and Couchbase. Miami is the preferred location to work hybrid, candidates can work remotely, provided they do not reside in the following states: IA, MS, MT, ND, PR, SD, WV, WY. Again, someone who can work hybrid will be given priority. As a vital member of our remote team, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and monitoring web applications and database systems critical to daily operations across our global contact centers. Your role will involve gathering and analyzing data essential for strategic decision-making processes across various departments. While the primary concentration lies in backend work, you should also be comfortable undertaking frontend tasks as required by specific projects. Responsibilities for the Full Stack Developer: Design and implement REST APIs to facilitate internal web application functionalities. Collaborate closely with existing database packages and procedures, transforming them into efficient backend processes. Retrofit legacy web applications, converting business logic into modern REST APIs or backend processes. Analyze user requirements and procedural workflows to automate processing or enhance existing computer systems and information structures. Maintain thorough documentation of processes and systems. MUST HAVE SKILLS for the Full Stack Developer Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in the field or a related area. Proficiency in web-based languages and databases. While Miami is preferred, candidates can work remotely, provided they do not reside in the following states: IA, MS, MT, ND, PR, SD, WV, WY. Knowledge & Skills: Proficiency in Python and/or PHP, REST APIs, and RDMS is required. Familiarity with various data platforms such as MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Oracle, Redshift, and Couchbase. Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming principles, particularly in the context of web applications. Blend of technical expertise and business acumen. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and approach challenges analytically.
