As our Power Market Advisor, you will provide technical and advisory support for the Day Ahead Market functions. MISO's Day-Ahead Market clears on average of 98% of real-time demand and is critical to successful real-time operations. You will conduct process reviews and data analysis, collaborate with leadership, Market Design, R&D, and project teams on new market products and enhancements identifying how they will impact the Day Ahead market including training needs for operators. You will also provide support and design input for tools and coordination with support and agile development teams. Lastly, you will develop reports, documentation, and recommend modifications to improve effectiveness and efficiency of supported business areas.

As our Power Market Advisor, you will have the have the opportunity to create a large impact on MISO's forward markets by:

• Providing support and analysis for operational personnel directly administering the Day Ahead Market functions.
• Participating in process reviews, data gathering, and analysis to improve effectiveness and efficiency of supported business areas.
• Participating and leading Day-Ahead related impacts and requirements for projects and/or initiatives impacting Day-Ahead Market functions.

In one year as our Power Market Advisor, you will know you're successful if:

• You successfully collaborated with Day-Ahead Operators and cross-functional teams to drive efficient Day-Ahead market outcomes
• You supported development of Day-Ahead processes and technology improvements that move the business toward meeting Operations of the Future and MISO's Reliability Imperative.

We are looking for hardworking professionals who have:

* At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Technology or a related field OR 10 years of equivalent technical work experience in lieu of a degree

* At least six or more years of relevant work experience in a related field

* Previous energy industry and/or energy market experience

We would also prefer candidates with the following:

* At least two years of data management, market analysis, planning, or settlements experience

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
