Position Summary The Manager, Sewing will be responsible for helping to plan, schedule and run sewing production for our products. Will ensure that all products are manufactured to meet the highest quality standards.
Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Two-five years minimum experience managing operations in a manufacturing environment. A minimum of one - three years of experience using lean six sigma or manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools. Strong working knowledge of sewing production, sewing techniques, and sewing machine operation is a must. Ability to lead and influence a cross-functional team is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. **Bilingual English/Spanish a plus** Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Office 365, Outlook, Excel, and Word. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will directly manage a team within Manufacturing. Develop and execute the company's business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders. Provide strategic advice so direct reports will have accurate view of the market and the company's future. Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate. Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times. Communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners, and authorities. Able to delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of direct reports providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance. Position Hiring RangeThe hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets. Compensation: $68,640.00 - $91,620.00Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's. Benefits Include:
