Position Summary: Inventory Specialist

Responsible for providing analytics, tracking performance, fulfillment tracking, training, and developing tools and reports that assist Inventory Management and Merchandising teams.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:



  • Support Inventory Management team sharing knowledge, documentation of best practices, and providing training of Demand Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocation, Category Planning/Forecasting, Fulfilment, and Replenishment systems and process.
  • Collaborate with Category Management and Inventory Management teams to maintain, edit, and publish reports using Excel and MS Access.
  • Create ad hoc and exception reports to support executive requests, providing analytics using KPIs and executive summaries that highlight underperforming/underperforming areas.
  • Document business process and create supportive training materials
  • Champion testing efforts, performing UAT prior to deployment of data fixes, enhancements, and new product releases.
  • Escalate system issues, raising tickets with the appropriate team, providing business ranking and priority.
  • Support inventory management activities to plan, forecast, and track orders to maximize inventory in-stock rates and fill rates for both DCs and stores.
  • Meet deadlines to coordinate system setup for new stores, providing fulfillment tracking of actively ranged SKUs, and provide data entry as needed to coordinate MITs, RTVs, and other transfers.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of relevant work experience), preferably in Business, 4 years of relevant work experience in inventory management or similar
  • Skilled proficiency modeling and building complex reports in Excel and Access
  • Skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a focus on organization skills to meet deadlines
  • Fundamental understanding of Business Intelligence and graphical reporting tools, including Microstrategy and Tableau, data mining functions, advanced Excel formulas, Excel pivot tables, and data queries of external databases.


Pay Rate: $66,200- $73,600 K / salary depending on background and experience.
