About This Role: The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University seeks to expand our expertise in infectious diseases of production animals and host-pathogen interactions by hiring an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (tenure-track or tenured) with expertise in basic/domestic animal immunology. This position will be a 12-month appointment with approximately 70% research, 20% teaching, and 10% service appointment. The successful candidate will establish (Assistant Professor level) or maintain (Associate Professor level) an extramurally funded research program, teach graduate courses in the department, share responsibility for classroom instruction of first year veterinary students, and serve as the director of a core flow cytometer and cell sorting laboratory.
