SUMMARY
In the role of HR Lead, you will serve as a key support to the Director of Human Resources, contributing to the leadership of a robust and well-organized HR department. We are seeking an individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a proactive and innovative mindset. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with diverse concepts, practices, and procedures within the realm of Human Resources. They will rely on their experience and judgment to effectively plan and achieve goals, tackling a range of complex tasks and projects with creativity and autonomy. Additionally, this role involves handling paperwork for various functional areas in accordance with established protocols.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Employee Relations: Offers guidance and support to employees, focusing on fostering a high-performance work environment through coaching, counseling, and adherence to policies and standards.
- Communications: Collaborates closely with management and employees to identify communication needs and opportunities.

- Provides expertise in formulating and executing HR-related communication projects, including concept creation, writing, editing, and distribution coordination.
- Maintains up-to-date HR information on bulletin boards throughout the facility.
- Health & Welfare/Benefits: Contributes to annual open enrollment and communicates benefit policy changes to employees.
- Recommends enhancements to benefit offerings, particularly those aimed at improving employee satisfaction and retention.
- Assists in managing file feed management in the HRIS and ensures accurate processing of new hire benefits and qualifying events.
- Policies & Procedures/Processes: Assists in managing file feed management in the HRIS and ensures accurate processing of new hire benefits and qualifying events.
- Facilitates transfers, salary adjustments, and performance administration, and responds to inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Contributes to annual open enrollment and communicates benefit policy changes to employees.
- Recommends enhancements to benefit offerings, particularly those aimed at improving employee satisfaction and retention.
- Assists in managing file feed management in the HRIS and ensures accurate processing of new hire benefits and qualifying events.
- Payroll/HRIS Integrity: Helps oversee payroll to ensure accuracy and conducts scheduled audits.
- Assists with manual checks as necessary and ensures data integrity in the HRIS (Paycom).
- Ensures completion of new hire paperwork and data entry; providing additional support and follow-up as needed.
- Change Management/Relationship Building: Helps oversee payroll to ensure accuracy and conducts scheduled audits.
- Assists with manual checks as necessary and ensures data integrity in the HRIS (Paycom).
- Collaborates closely with management, HR team, and employees to identify opportunities for organizational improvement.
- Audits: Helps oversee payroll to ensure accuracy and conducts scheduled audits.

- Projects: Undertakes projects as directed by the Director of HR and other leadership members.
- Legal Compliance: Leads company compliance with governmental and labor legal requirements, minimizing company exposure to lawsuits.
- Serves as a contact for legal matters and governmental agencies, ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.

Required Experience
- Strong understanding of Human Resource concepts, practices and procedures.
- 3 to 5 years work experience in a Human Resource field required.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding.
- Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills.
- Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.
- Works well under stress with the ability to deliver on time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experienced with MicroSoft suite of products along with Email & Calendar systems.
- Experience with Paycom is a plus.
