The Career Practicum Instructor for the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (PTECH) program collaborates with internal and external partners to provides related educational services and work-based learning experiences for students in a skills-based learning environment. The Career Practicum Instructor serves all students by building linkages with the school staff, business/industry representatives, postsecondary educational personnel, parents, and civic and community organizations. In addition, collaborating with the school staff and coordinating the support services of the business community, the PTECH Coordinator facilitates students' transition into the workplace through their enrollment in the High School P-TECH program.

Desired Qualifications
- Candidate must posses a valid Maryland State Department of Education Teaching license with Work-based Learning endorsement.
- Previous successful experience in teaching work-based learning / workforce management OR youth engagement preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of instructional strategies and methods appropriate for student learning and work-based learning experience needs.
- Ability to integrate technology with the curriculum.
- Problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to organize ideas, time, and materials to accomplish goals.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and plan with other staff members through Professional Learning Communities.
- Desire and willingness to continue to learn and pursue professional development.
