Description

Responsibilities:



  • Performs various loan file maintenances as requested.
  • Audits reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with Georgia United's processes and procedures.
  • Supports members and branches by answering questions regarding insurance claims.
  • Maintains and updates members' GAP, debt and disability claims in the system.
  • Processes collateral protection premium add-ons, refunds and interest refunds. Processes dept protection, GAP and warranty remittances and claims.
  • Processes warranty cancelations and total loss warranty claims.
  • Reconciles General Ledger.
  • Responsible for correcting loan file maintenance errors.
  • Research and resolve record keeping errors or discrepancies.
  • Supports members and branches by answering loan servicing questions within different communication platforms.
  • Completes required reports as requested.
  • Investigates, processes and responds to credit disputes and discrepancies accordingly and timely. Including communication with the Credit Reporting Agencies (CRA) and updating credit reporting using the CRA approved system, E-Oscar.
  • Monitors and tracks credit dispute requests to identify potential service or system deficiencies or issues.
  • Keeps management informed of any significant problems with loan servicing, significant insurance claims problems and/or file maintenance issues.
  • Responsible for title processing for the local and out of state Department of Motor Vehicles offices.
  • Responsible for processing letter of guarantees and vehicle loan payoffs notifications. Submits electronic and paper titles to dealerships when loans are paid off.
  • Responsible for lien operations, such as release requests and processing Credit union liens on titles used for collateral.
  • Responsible for other functions and other duties assigned within the department.
  • Assist with training of current and new team members.
  • Assists with special projects in the department.
  • Serves as backup for Team Lead duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for projecting and maintaining the Credit Union's professional reputation with members by adhering to professional standards of conduct.
  • Promotes and establishes strong, positive and productive working relationships within the organization through commitment to the company's purpose, mission and core values.

Experience
3 years: *3+ years of similar or related work experience. (required)
*Title Knowledge and Preparation experience is required. (required)

*Computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet, Email and Phone System. (required)
