JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, recognizing, and providing stewardship for a portfolio of major giving donors ($10,000+) and prospects. Responsible for cultivating relationships with, and providing excellent donor service to, Tocqueville Society members and Campaign Cabinet Volunteers who include many top community leaders and high-level donors. This primarily outward facing, results-oriented role will require the candidate to be a high-energy and inspiring leader who has the demonstrated ability to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism and discretion. Additionally, this role strengthens United Way's long-term sustainability by bringing a data driven and collaborative team approach to major gifts fundraising. With a strong alignment with United Way's culture and eco-system, this role is responsible for developing a pipeline of loyal donors who will continue to place United Way as their philanthropic partner of choice throughout their lifetime. Expected Outcomes: Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective major giving donors as appropriate. Effectively communicate United Way's value-add to all constituents. Integrate all aspects of United Way's resource development strategy. Demonstrate effective campaign and resource development leadership. Increase revenue from leadership donor base.
