This position is responsible for category sourcing performance for Woodward at an enterprise level.Performance is measured by strategic initiative achievement. Thoseinitiatives includesupplier and category strategy, commercial management, and supply base consolidation.It includes all aspects of commercial and contractual management of the assigned suppliers.The key focus isthe selection and development of the supply base to match Woodward's future needs, but also includessupport of the business group-based purchasing functions in the areas of strategic alignment and critical issue escalation.
