The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the field and to teaching that will enable them to be a visionary and innovative member of the program. The Full-time Paramedic Instructor will teach Paramedicine at the college level, with responsibilities such as crafting curriculum, creating engaging learning environments, employing modern teaching methods and technology, assessing student progress, providing guidance, maintaining records, and contributing to college-wide initiatives. The position may also involve serving as a lead instructor at various campus locations as needed for accreditation. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Human and Protective Services, the Full-time Paramedic Instructor role requires dedication to academic excellence and active participation in departmental and institutional activities. Full-time faculty work a nine-month contract for the academic year (Fall and Spring semesters), and teaching summer courses is optional, with additional pay.
