Provide technical administrative support for core contracting activities, specifically related to maintenance of records, documents, and databases. The primary focus of the position will be in updating and maintaining data in the contract document repository (OnBase), contract database and CACTUS (contract screens). Other major duties will include drafting/ preparing amendments/notices for use by contracting team and managers; assisting with monthly reporting of Provider Contracting Department; and assisting with special projects as needed.
Job Description
- On daily basis, review the contract updates email inbox and distribute or handle requests in the inbox as appropriate under the direction of Sr. Director of Provider Contracting.
- On daily basis, review the weekly pending Contracts and/or Salesforce reports to ensure updates are maintained and entered consistently; reconcile any reporting errors and make updates in Credentialing system or Contract database as necessary.
- Assist with the generation of monthly Provider Network reports as well as ad hoc reports as requested.
- Enter newly executed provider contracts and amendments to contracts completed by Sr. Director/ Director/Manager into Contracting Database/ OnBase repository.
- Assist with maintenance of all databases utilized by the contracting department.
- Work with Sr. Director/ Director or VP of Provider Contracting in obtaining contract supporting documentation (W-9 form; IRS letter; Owner Disclosure form) from providers with whom management is directly working with.
- File and maintain contract files, including scanning/indexing of Provider Contracts into online Contract Repository (OnBase).
- Update contracting information in Contracting Database (amendments, terminations, rates, sites,
- specialties, etc.).
- Run weekly communications grid as scheduled.
- Reconcile and distribute department mail and track termination return receipts. Scan documents / mail in appropriate folders.
- Work on special projects as needed and assist in all areas of the Provider Contracting Department
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree required with minimum 2.5 years of related work experience; or
- Bachelor's degree required with minimum of 6 months ofrelated work experience.
- Adapt easily to ever changing and stressful environment.
- Proficient in computer applications including MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
