Mark R Weiner & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, is hiring Law interns to join the team on part-time or full-time basis. The internship strives to provide a balanced and realistic representation of the function of Claims Litigation Counsel, as well as real world exposure to a multitude of legal services being provided including litigation and trial practice. The selected individual will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with attorneys on assigned projects, observe every phase of litigation, perform legal research, and will have a designated mentor throughout the internship. This internship is paid at $30/hour. Located in Glendale, California, we enjoy and active, busy civil trial practice. We provide a congenial, team-oriented, professional work environment with skilled support staff.

• Current enrollment in an ABA accredited law school and remain enrolled for the duration of the internship
• Current 2L/3E students
• Excellent academic credentials preferably in top 25% of law school class
• Strong research skills including familiarity with Westlaw
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunity
