The Data Enablement - Data Governance team plays a critical role in helping SoFi realize its ambitions by building foundational technology that unlocks industry-leading experiences for SoFi Members. The role: As a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager - Data Governance at SoFi, you will focus on delivery of key initiatives in data classification, metadata management, data sharing and data quality. This role will require you to collaborate with cross-functional leaders in engineering, product, design, and business to drive data technology decisions, innovations, and implementation. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring SoFi meets all regulatory requirements and protects the data of its members by fostering and promoting best practices in data governance through evangelizing and collaborating with stakeholders across other lines of defense. The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of data governance and best practices, familiarity with regulatory and privacy requirements, and strong technical skills in data technologies such as SQL, Snowflake, Airflow, and Spark. Strong partnership skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to deliver programs that improve SoFi's overall data posture will be a key to success in this role.
