The Multimedia & Classroom Technologies Operations Supervisor is responsible for support, processes, and procedures related to managing and maintaining technology in UCR's large venue areas, conference rooms, classrooms, labs, and event support. This support is inclusive of working collaboratively across UCR to define specifications, plan for changes, and implement and maintain the technology for the defined use. Additionally, this position will collaborate across schools, departments, and within IT to define effective standards, policies, processes, and procedures for evaluation, acquisition, and ongoing management and maintenance of University technology spaces and assets to ensure the technology deployed in supported spaces throughout the University is working as designed while continually reviewing and refining documentation and policies for these assets. The incumbent will establish and maintain professional partnership relations with hardware and software vendors which enables early participation in testing and developing projects involving new and emerging technologies. The incumbent will, at times, represent ITS at campus-wide meetings and represent UCR at system-wide and off-campus meetings, seminars, and conferences.

Please Note: This position is classified as on-site.

The full salary range for the Operations Supervisor is $34.05 to $61.64 per hour. However, the pay scale for this position is UP TO $45.81 per hour. UCR bases salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, UCR is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California Vaccination Program Policy.
