Overview Job Summary
Provide electrical engineering services in support of either the operation and maintenance of the campus electrical distribution system or the design, construction and operation of electrical equipment, components or systems associated with research efforts within an academic or research unit. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: facilities management and utilities personnel or research management and faculty; co-workers, vendors, suppliers and contractors. This position typically will advise and counsel: management personnel. This position will supervise: NA. Responsibilities

Preferred skills include: the ability to solder electronic circuits and assemblies, IPC/J-STD certifications, use of electronic test equipment, good understanding of electrical schematics, and a good understanding of electrical and/or mechanical drawing packages (Altium, Solidworks) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
