This is a chance to work on one of New Relic's critical engineering teams! Each of the following teams has one (1) available position:

The Container Fabric team powers the complete backend infrastructure on which all New Relic applications are deployed.

The FinOps team bridges the gap and focuses on the interplay between Cloud Architecture and Financial Optimization.

What you'll do
  • Actively participate in an impactful project through pair programming, coding and understanding the full development cycle
  • Create and maintain technical documentation of processes
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal or external customers
  • Gain experience in the world of observability
This role requires
  • Currently enrolled in a Graduate program majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with an expected graduation date between May-June 2025
  • Experience programming in Go, Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages
  • Familiarity with large scale distributed systems, concurrency and multithreading concepts
Bonus points if you have
  • Experience with kubernetes, unix or linux environments
  • Passion and interest in SaaS and observability platforms
  • Participation in university clubs (i.e. SWE, WiCS, SHPE, NSBE, Hacker teams, and any others focusing on the professional development of your computer science skills)
