Position Responsibilities for Addiction Services Team Leader:

  • Directs the day- to-day operations of the prevention services team.
  • Ensures the agency is operating in accordance with Ohio MHAS prevention certification standards.
  • Plans and develops alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention services including groups and didactic presentations.
  • Hires, trains and provides ongoing supervision to the Prevention Staff.
  • Develops policies, procedures, manuals and brochures relative to Prevention Programming.
  • Implements alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention services in accordance with generally accepted, results-oriented prevention/outreach practices.
  • Provides training and consultation for professionals regarding alcohol and other drug use, abuse and dependency.
  • Carries out, in a timely manner, reporting, tracking, and program evaluation as needed to document services, satisfy funders, measure effectiveness and as assigned by supervisor or administrator.
  • Develops positive, productive working relationships with consumers in order to maintain and improve quality service for the community and carry out the mission of Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services.

Position Requirements for Addiction Services Team Leader:

  • Associate's degree in Human Services related field and two years of related experience required
  • Must have an LSW/LPC or LCDCIII and higher
