Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Agile Release Train Engineer position for the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide high level guidance and is overall responsible for technical aspects of the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure cross functional teams deliver value.

  • Provide mentoring to junior level employees and educate team on ART principals and best practices

  • Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive improvement through coordination between the Contractor's development team, the Government Product Owner and key technical stakeholders.

  • Monitor program performance; resolve impediments; develop and implement solutions for driving improvement.

  • Coordinate schedule execution and plan program-wide software/architecture releases.

  • Lead cross-team collaboration in support of development, testing, and deployment efforts.

  • Track the execution of features and capabilities through metrics across program's agile and DevOps teams.

  • Brief customers on the development progress throughout the Program Increment (PI) cycle on program status, including the status of testing, deployment, and release readiness.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Requires BS and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Direct experience with large-scale agile (e.g., Disciplined Agile Delivery, Large-scale Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework or Spotify model).

  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and promptly identify issues requiring discussion or triage.

  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail, recognizing that meticulous task completion is paramount to success in the role.

  • Must possess an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered.

  • Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience

  • Active TS/SCI preferred.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe RTE or similar agile project management certification (PMI-ACP).
