We are seeking a Xamarin Developer for a short-term engagement to spearhead the transition of two legacy Xamarin projects to .NET using MAUI. You would be working with a team deeply invested in fostering tech inclusivity and diversity, crafting bespoke digital solutions that not only align with but surpass their clients' visions. Short-Term Project Details: Project 1: - Evaluate an existing Xamarin application to pinpoint necessary updates or migrations. - Design a variety of potential upgrade paths for discussion and future decision-making. Project 2: - Conduct an analysis of another Xamarin application, determining required updates or migrations. - Formulate and execute an upgrade strategy, ensuring the process is streamlined and effective. Key Responsibilities: - Perform a thorough examination of our current Xamarin applications to assess the implications of Xamarin's End of Life (EOL). - Outline a comprehensive strategy for the required updates or migration, detailing timelines and resource allocations. - Facilitate the application updates or migration, prioritizing operational continuity and maintaining exceptional quality standards. - Collaborate seamlessly with our internal development team to ensure a smooth transition and effective knowledge sharing. - Regularly communicate project statuses, challenges encountered, and problem-solving strategies. Essential Qualifications: - Demonstrable expertise in Xamarin, .NET, C#, and .NET MAUI. - Prior experience with application transitions, especially from Xamarin to .NET, is highly valued. - Self-motivated with a keen ability to manage time efficiently to adhere to project deadlines. - Exceptional problem-solving acumen and meticulous attention to detail. - Robust communication and team collaboration skills, with proficiency in working within a remote team environment.
