Staff Relations Intern (Paid Internship)

As a Cheesecake Human Resources Intern, you will play an integral part in supporting our Staff Relations department by assisting with ongoing projects and responsibilities that relate to your future career. You'll have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of how a Staff Relations department functions by interacting with the entire team as well as cross functionally with other departments.

Reporting to the Director of Staff Relations, you will work with a Staff Relations team of 14, located in Calabasas Hills, CA, supporting the Staff Relations function for a $3.4 billion public company with over 300 restaurants and more than 47,500 staff members.

  • Learn project management skills and how to effectively support the Staff Relations strategy for the Policy/Procedure Document System.
  • Understand investigations in the workplace and have the opportunity to participate in providing workplace remedies that will help to protect the company culture.
  • Learn about the importance of Employee Engagement and how it supports our culture and helps to mitigate Staff Relations Issues.

What we require:

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution.
  • Completed a minimum 2 years in post-secondary education.
  • Majoring in Human Resources or related field.
  • Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Available to work from the Support Center at least 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
