Job Description

We are currently hiring for our next People Operations Co-Op at our office in the Seaport District of Boston, MA. This position is from July-December 2024.

*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.

The People Operations Co-Op will join our People Operations & Technology team in managing The Boston Beer Company's human resources information systems (HRIS) and it's employment lifecycle data. This role will be responsible for supporting the teams' day-to-day operations, data analytics reporting and strategic system enhancements.

What You'll Brew:



  • Manage employment lifecycle transactions from cross functional areas of the business such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Workforce Management, and Payroll.
  • Assist managing HR system inquiries via the People Operations Mailbox from coworkers, internal stakeholders (HRBPs, IT) and external contacts (data integration partners, vendors, etc.)
  • Support implementing system enhancements to the company's HRIS system, Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Assist in regular workforce reporting and analysis; design and develop analysis's requested by business stakeholders and summarize and interpret data findings
  • Support and troubleshoot system issues and regression testing quarterly HRIS upgrades
  • Will be responsible for an operational or technical project
  • Provide clear and meaningful workforce structure information across all levels of the organization

Minimum Qualifications



  • Must be currently enrolled in Bachelor's Degree program
  • Valid Social Security Number needed by first day of employment
  • Must be able to commute daily to the Boston Design Center in the Seaport District of Boston, MA.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Course work and interest in in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Computer Science or similar
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerBI, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Candidate must be confident, collaborative, solutions-oriented and self-starter who is an adept multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior professional experience is required, preferably with some customer service experience
