LSSI is hiring apart-time Mental Health Clinician. Provides prescreening, therapy and linkage case management services in a team-based environment. Conducts crisis intervention to stabilize, provide linkage to appropriate resources and engage patients with varying levels of motivation.

Essential Functions:
  • Utilizes evidence-based practices during individual and group treatment that supports client's goals and addresses mental health needs/symptoms.
  • Assesses patients throughout their episode of care to determine medical necessity and create an individualized plan of care for the identified diagnosis.
  • Communicates with supervisor, treatment team and collateral agencies in order to develop and execute treatment plan.
  • Provides and coordinates a continuum of treatment services between the ED/SCH and BHAL referrals to meet client needs.
  • Complies with productivity standards.
Position Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Worker/Counseling or similar field required.
  • LCSW/LCPC required.
  • CADC preferred.
  • 1 year experience working with adult clients with a mental health diagnosis, conducting counseling, crisis intervention or case management.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must pass the IL IM-CANS training/test.
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
