As the Housekeeping Manager for our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:

Supervise Housekeepers, Laundry Attendants and House Persons.
Schedule department team members based on occupancy forecast and demands of hotel.
Inspect rooms and public areas after housekeeping staff have completed cleaning duties to ensure they are ready for guest use and meet expectations.
Inventory Control- maintain adequate inventory levels and conduct monthly inventories.
Hire, coach and counsel housekeeping staff members.
Will clean rooms, as needed, in the event of short staffing.
Assist with laundry as needed.

The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:

Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience.
Knowledge of hotel room deep cleaning process.
Strong attention to detail.
Dependability and regular attendance.
Ability to interact with guests and co-workers in a courteous, empathetic and discreet manner.
Ability to lift or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work weekends.
