The Role

SoFi is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager (Contract) to lead our Bank and Money team product development teams. In this role you will work Money and Bank business as well as our Galileo partner, coordinating with business units, product divisions, and cross-functional teams, and communicating product plans and project outcomes to our senior leadership. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, articulate, technical, and focused program manager who has experience in driving large-scale programs, as well as the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences. You'll play the critical role of driving the business while bridging the technical and business worlds to drive profitable business growth while managing risk. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate internal and external data is available to make data-driven decisions and wherever needed, help set up the required infrastructure to acquire such data.

What you'll do:



  • Program management leadership for all of Bank and Money Product Development
  • Manage development life-cycle for select critical projects from requirements to deployment
  • Drive our strategic planning process, across all functions and partner teams
  • Lead cross-functional remote delivery teams to ensure deliverables are met
  • Communicate ongoing project status with key stakeholders and business leadership
  • Take initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment


What you'll need:



  • BS Degree in computer science
  • 6+ years of technical program management experience
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and evaluate product performance
  • Technical understanding of software architecture and tech designs.
  • Ability to work across multiple cross functional teams and leaders to build customer facing solutions
  • Work and play well with others; SoFi is a collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication


Nice to have:



  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sophisticated projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives. Working with customers to define products and tools that developers and users interact with.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work with senior leaders across the enterprise.

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.
