Salary for Announcement The minimum of the pay range for this position is $41,200. We anticipate the qualified candidate to be placed between $46,300 - $53,000. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. Additionally, Student Affairs has committed to tying our salaries to an understanding of a living wage. To that end, we will not pay less than $46,300. The above salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary As MSU Denver seeks to be the national leader in educating students for tomorrow's careers, the Classroom to Career Hub (C2Hub) works to ensure programs are aligned to Colorado workforce development trends and the Colorado Talent Pipeline report. With an ambitious goal of engaging 100% of students in robust career planning in the next few years, the University is committed to creating services that are scaled, highly evaluated, and focused on the specific needs and interests of MSU Denver students. To that end, successful team members think critically about MSU Denver student demographics and their respective career planning. The Career Engagement Team works within the Student Success unit of the Classroom to Career Hub to provide robust programs designed to engage all MSU Denver students in career readiness opportunities. The Student Employment Programs Specialist is responsible for planning and implementing programs and services to enhance the experience of MSU Denver student employees. This position will implement programs that facilitate career readiness and integrate career skill development and learning outcomes into the student employee experience. This position also works to ensure that C2 Hub student employees are supported, connected and prepared for careers after graduation and all programs and services affirm student unique identity and reflect our university values of equity and social justice IND208 Duties/Responsibilities Program Management - (40%)
