Leave of Absence Specialist

Description The Leave of Absence Specialist assists employees calling the UCLA Health Employee Experience Center with inquiries related to leaves of absences such as FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and Military Leaves.
This person provides overview information and process instructions to employees needing to take a leave, enters data into LOAN, ServiceNow and UCPath, assuring data is maintained at all times, and interacts directly with employee on LOA, employee's manager, and internal HR colleagues (i.e. Benefits, Workers' Compensation Disability Management, etc.) to provide support and information. Our LOA Analyst also proactively manages all assigned leave files and assures leaves are up to date at all times.
Salary Range: $28.78-$59.34 Hourly

Qualifications * Data entry experience relative to FMLA, PDLL, CFRA leaves of absence;
* Experience in a case management system
* Experience in producing leave eligibility reports in a payroll system;
* Experience in assisting employees with questions about taking a Leave of Absence
* Experience in handling Leave of Absence paperwork and knowledge of protocols dealing with Personal Health Information
* Bachelors degree preferred
