Position Scope:

Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Sector; Strategy & Growth (S&G) function. The Analyst will play a key role in tasks related to Market Assessment, Competitive Assessment, and Industry Benchmarking. In this role, the Analyst will have accountability for researching and translating industry data into the Sector's strategic assessments, in support of the Sector's Leadership Team. This position demands excellent communication skills, cross-functional collaboration skills, and project leadership skills with the ability to develop and maintain systematic processes. This position will enjoy high visibility and interface directly with multiple entities across the Sector organization - inclusive of Business Development, Marketing, two Business Units, Engineering, Finance, and Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Due to ITAR requirements, candidate must be a U.S. citizen
  • Support strategic projects across the A&D Sector; work closely with senior business leaders
  • Perform analysis and create actionable insights by assessing market intelligence and trends for the industry, as well as macroeconomic indicators
  • Support Business Development team with tailored research
  • Attend industry shows and events to gather information and insights
  • Support the development of the A&D strategic plan with tailored research and data presentation
  • Employ enterprise data systems to develop reports, compile data, formulate key business performance metrics, and develop dashboard reporting approaches
  • Support process mapping and improvement activities to mature function best practices
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Unwavering commitment to ethical business practices and appropriate handling of sensitive or proprietary information
  • Strong analytical and finance competencies; ability to synthesize broad amounts of business information, and assess key financial metrics. Ability to understand and communicate abstract data and concepts
  • Strong, concise Executive communication and presentation skills, with keen attention to detail. Ability to clearly communicate complex conceptual issues
  • High-level skills in project management. Effective team player with ability to develop strong inter-organizational relationships and to lead collaborative work teams
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, highly-dynamic environment
  • Highly desired: Understanding of financial profit and loss reporting; understanding of the A&D industry customers and suppliers; exposure to market research, business intelligence, analytics; experience with industry research sources and tools such as FactSet, Pitchbook, DACIS, Jane's
Education and Experience:
  • Entry-level position requires Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Political Science or technical/science disciplines. Preference for 1-2 years of experience in market research, management consulting, business development, or other relevant experience; or an MBA or other Master's degree.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
