General Information: James Madison University Recreation (UREC) is now accepting applications for a GA for Intramural Sports and Youth Programs from candidates planning to pursue a career and advanced degree in campus recreation. Duties and Responsibilities: The Graduate Assistant for Intramural Sports and Youth Programs will coordinate team sport officials and site managers training, supervision and evaluation. This GA will provide leadership to the Intramural Sports site manager and sport officials student staffs. This GA will coordinate selected aspects of Intramural Sports and Youth Programs program planning. Facility supervision and operational responsibilities for the University Recreation Center and satellite facilities is required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in related field. Sports officiating and/or officials training experience preferred. Conditions of Employment: Students may apply to a graduate assistantship prior to being accepted into a graduate program.
