Summer intern to support supply chain

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

  • Coordinates all activities related to procurement beginning with intent to purchase through delivery.
  • Responsible for supplier metrics, approvals, and risk assessments for assigned group of suppliers.
  • Analyzes the requirements, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is needed.
  • Issues RFQ's and PO's and/or IDWA's in accordance with company and government regulations.
  • Implements purchase contracts that comply with company and government regulations.
  • Assures material is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, meets the quality standards of the
    company and aligns with inventory level expectations.
