Job Summary Working closely with programming colleagues, this role will curate a curriculum of continuing educational offerings-including literary seminars-which mostly meet online. Competitive candidates will have a demonstrated track record, public profile, and pre-established network as a scholar, editor, and/or curator in the fields of academia, publishing, and/or the world of literary arts programming. This role is responsible for maintaining an active presence in scholarly communities across the nation, while collaborating with the Executive Director of Continuing Education and directly and indirectly managing staff in programming, producing, and moderating classes. The programs offered aim to advance 92NY's organizational mission and revenue generation goals. Job Responsibilities Include Online Program
Source potential writing faculty by researching major publications and academic efforts.
Experience, Education, & Skills Desired Bachelor's degree preferably in the liberal arts: English, Comparative Literature, Education, Journalism or History; MFAs and PhDs encouraged. Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Work Environment & Requirements 40 hours per week plus evening and weekend participation in classes and special events as needed. This position is approved to utilize a hybrid working model which is subject to change in the future. Compensation Range $85,000 - $95,000 The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. |
