Radiologic Tech - Cath Lab

We are searching for a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Invasive Cardiology Assistant II) to perform diversified duties within and in support of the Structural Heart Department including providing invasive scrub assistance to the Invasive Cardiologist and or Cardiothoracic Surgeon during all aspects of cardiac catheterization, interventional, structural heart procedures such as advanced transcatheter cardiac therapies including valve procedures in both mitral and aortic valve treatment, left atrial appendage procedures, left ventricular support devices, and adult congenital heart catheter therapies. Identify and treat patient conditions required for successful completion of various related procedures. Provide patient education and teaching as part of daily activities.

$2500 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)

Hours: 40hrs (full time)

Shift: Day Shift: M-F Day shift with rotating days off. 8-hour shifts. On call- nights, weekends and holiday

Location: Cardiac Cath Lab Dept - Charlton Memorial Hospital- Fall River, MA

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduation from an accredited program in Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 2-3 years of related experience including a minimum of two years clinical cardiac and/or critical care experience is preferred.
• One year's experience as a Scrub Assistant in a cardiac catheterization/EP lab/Structural Heart is preferred.
• Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS) or Registered Radiography Technologist with an Advanced Cardiovascular/Interventional Certification is preferred.
• ACLS, and BLS certifications are required.
