Quality Coordinator

This position will be the complaint systems expert for General Industrial (GI) ensuring accuracy, follow-up and completion of complaint entries. The person is expected to be self-motivated and proactively use available tools and information to improve Quality. Candidate will regularly interface with GSC, PCG Group Quality, Sales, Facilities, Purchasing, Complaint Teams, and field Technical Service to support PCG GI Product Quality in North America.

* Support the GI NA Customer Satisfaction program by facilitating the daily intake complaint review and monitoring complaint status.
* Act as a liaison between facilities, commercial teams, and operations to support
complaint resolution.
* Lead and initiate communication to ensure timely responses to field complaints,
* Respond to Facility and Commercial teams requests and escalate complaints as required.
* Coordinate responses to failures including next steps.
* Support complaint resolution by pulling data for ARC investigations.
* Provide training to Facilities and Commercial teams on complaints systems (PQR & Discovery) and complaint processes.
* Act as liaison between Sourcing (Procurement) to ensure timely resolution of Toller complaints.
* Provide support in Product Recertifications.
* Support Quality Excellence Managers in achieving Quality Excellence within the Division
* Provide support on quality investigations to determine root cause and implement sustainable corrective actions.
* Assist with preparation and presentation of the monthly Quality Review Board meetings.
* Support quality health as measured by Opportunity Cost, Complaint Rate and Complaint Resolution Days.
* Generate monthly reports to track and improve complaint rate, complaint cycle time and OC to better support the business.
* Responsible for Quality data integrity and develop the ability to pull meaningful actionable items out of the data.
* Additional duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Field technical experience in coating application and potential failure modes.
* Strong communication skills both oral and written.
* Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
* Proficient in Excel and Word
* Experience working with the General Industrial business and their customers in quickly determining immediate actions to support customer complaints.
* Data collection and interpretation
* Complaint systems training
* Coordinating the response to failures

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Science Degree or equivalent field technical experience in coating application and
potential failure modes.
* Strong problem solving skills
* Proficient in Business Objects

Travel Requirements: 10% Domestic & International
