Role and Responsibilities:
The
Custodian/Janitor
is responsible for performing a variety of custodial duties, minor maintenance tasks, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary condition. This crucial role contributes to the overall cleanliness and functionality of the organization's premises.

Physical Demands:
The
Custodian/Janitor position is a physically demanding position. While preforming the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The incumbent is frequently required to use to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls. The incumbent must spend the entire time at work standing, walking, lifting heavy objects, operating medium- weight equipment. The incumbent is required to do a great deal of stretching and bending, often in awkward positions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. The incumbent must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
