POSITION SUMMARY: The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist conducts comprehensive assessments of outpatient pediatric patients with speech and language disorders. This position requires at least 3 years of pediatric speech and language experience. The Speech-Language Pathologist participates patient evaluation and education for various speech and language disorders. The Speech-Language Pathologist plans and implements individual/group speech-language pathology treatments. The Speech-Language Pathologist collaborates with other disciplines to arrange for appropriate follow-up care with the community providers. The Speech-Language Pathologist provides student training according to departmental guidelines and participates in continuous education. Position: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Department: Center for Voice / Swallowing Schedule: Per Diem, (AFSCME) JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Requires a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: Requires a current license and certification as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and ASHA. ASHA membership required.
