Resource Engineering & Hospitality (REHG) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to Texas. REH's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

Providence is calling a Supply Chain Program Manager, Sourcing Contracts Management who will:



  • Be responsible for the effective and efficient implementation of the sourcing program led by the Resources Engineering and Hospitality Group (REHG)
  • Perform a variety of cross program and project coordination activities and other duties that support the day-to-day performance of the Sourcing program within The Resources, Engineering, and Hospitality Group.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and other program managers, while also managing the key milestones and expectations required of the connected projects
  • Work within a visible role in the organization requiring a combination of program management, project management, technical and interpersonal skills to be successful
  • Ensure that the sourcing program result initiatives are effectively guided to completion for action planning to realize successful sourcing projects
  • Work collaboratively with Sr Leadership, Core leaders, and REHG to identify and escalate issues, develop action plans, and remove barriers for successful communication between sourcing and its customers
  • Be responsible for engaging sourcing leaders and communicating progress on the portfolio of work as well as identifying additional opportunities to streamline reporting
  • Encompass many cross functional projects across all sourcing to include but not limited to: Specials, ERP functions and standardization, templates, product discrepancies, supplier resiliency, risk mitigation, merger and acquisition coordination and overall contract value
  • Be responsible for other special projects as assigned

Required qualifications for this position include:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing projects, people or programs
  • 2+ years' experience working within and / or supporting supply chain activities, understanding the "day in the life" of supply chain caregivers
