Student Worker - Semel Institute

Description Dr. Huk's lab is looking for a part time Student Assistant to contribute to many aspects of experimental hardware, software, and animal training. Duties include:
* Assist in Setup of experimental apparatus,
* Test Software for use in running behavioral experiments,
* Contribute to Data collection and analysis of behavioral and neural data.
* Able to run a 2-4 hour protocol
* Scheduling, and other general clerical lab tasks.
This position will require remote and in-person duties. This position will require weekend and after hours availability.
**Must be a current UCLA Student**
Pay Range: $17.00 - $37.50 hourly

Qualifications Proficient writing and editing skills,
* Highly organized and reliable;
* Ability to prioritize work; communication skills to speak clearly and distinctly;
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment; maintain positive working relationships with staff and faculty; ability to work independently.
* Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
* Communicate clearly in e-mail.
* Communicate clearly orally for telephone calls, presentations and community activities.
