Applicants must hold a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree(s). It is strongly preferred the candidate has experience at the Assistant Professor level or higher. The ideal candidate will have an established, independent research program focused on mechanisms of valvular heart disease, bioprosthetic heart valve degeneration, cardiac devices, and/or other areas of heart valve research. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $104,800 - $320,100.
