GCBHS has an immediate opening for a Residential Team Lead to provide coordination, leadership and supervision to assigned staff, counselors and social workers at our Kemper House transitional living facility in East Walnut Hills, Cincinnati. Kemper House is a 15-bed facility that runs 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, and is a halfway house for mental health consumers.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates and manages all aspects of the program and implements all necessary organization policies and procedures, including oversight of all shifts, supervision and evaluation of all staff.
  • In conjunction with other residential staff, coordinates and provides services to clients, including:
  • Coordinates intakes and discharges with Mental Health Access Point.
  • Admission
  • Orientation
  • Service planning and goal achievement.
  • Referral to and coordination with any needed outside services.
  • Discharge planning and follow-up.
  • Assessment.
  • Liaison with other service providers and significant others.
  • Develop client services and programming based on recovery modeled services including WMR (Wellness Management and Recovery), SAMI best practices and the organizations recovery based initiatives.
  • Create and implement programming schedule for recovery services and facilitate ongoing programming to meet the needs of clients. .
  • Provides leadership and direction to staff in the areas of milieu facilitation, interventions with clients (e.g., crisis intervention, problem-solving, role modeling, limit setting), and development and implementation of individual and group activities (e.g., skills training, educational, and social/recreational.)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years experience in psycho-social setting working with SMD population
  • Previous supervisory and administrative experience is preferred
