Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $177,100-$377,200. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Professorial Series (Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, In Residence, Ladder Rank) and Professor of Teaching Series - Health Sciences Compensation Plan. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: March 20, 2024 Most recent review date: Thursday, Nov 7, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Mar 19, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Pediatric Neonatology Research -Clinical X Series, Associate or Professor Rank This position will have a full-time academic appointment in the UC Irvine Department of Pediatrics and will be involved in resident teaching and mentoring. There is opportunity to expand pediatric research at UC Irvine and be a part of their active and successful Pediatric team. Responsibilities will include scholarly activities related to the funded research efforts that must be brought to this position. Clinical duties will be related to each division's responsibilities and negotiated with the Division Chief to fulfil the remainder of the full-time allocation in addition to the protected funded research effort. Candidates may apply from any division within the Department of Pediatrics, with strengths in neonatology, hospitalist medicine, endocrinology, oncology, cardiology, neurology and infectious disease. The successful candidate is anticipated to bring independent research funds to support their research efforts and protected time. The full-time academic appointment may be at the Associate, or Full Professor level in the Clinical X series, depending on experience and extent of research effort. Clinical X appointments confer membership in the UCI Academic Senate. Candidates must possess a MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree in the field of Pediatric Neonatology, Hospital Medicine, Endocrinology, Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology or Infectious Disease, and be eligible for California licensure. Application Requirements Document requirements
