Pay Class: Full Time

Pay: $79,075.09- $105,433.46 per hour

Compensation range for the roles is listed above. Applicable salary rangers may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses, equity, and commissions.

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Manager, Maintenance & Reliability is responsible for driving a strategic maintenance and reliability program across two manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter with strong business acumen to build a world class maintenance organization. The right candidate will have demonstrated experience establishing priorities in an advanced manufacturing environment that includes controls automation and conveyance systems. In addition to practical experiencing maintaining equipment reliability, this person will have strong knowledge of CMMS software, parts inventory, budget management and facilities maintenance. Prior experience managing facilities vendors, gathering quotes and planning services is a plus.

The Sr. Manager, Maintenance & Reliability must be able think long-term while bringing knowledge of maintenance best practices to drive sustainable processes. The right candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in technical management and developing teams across multiple shifts and sites. This position will support the strategic direction of the company's maintenance program ensuring equipment reliability meets production operations demands.

Job Specifications;

Implement and maintain a parts management program and strategy to ensure optimal availability of parts and equipment uptime

Own maintenance and equipment end of life (EOL) strategy using ROI and other analytical techniques

Provide oversight for maintenance department and capital budget planning needs and execution

Maintain documentation needs for appropriate budget management and proper controls of parts, services and other vendor payment needs

Prepare, request or approve quotations for repairs, facilities requirements or other vendor related activities as needed

Leverage CMMS data to identify equipment reliability trends and corrective action strategies

Monitor maintenance dashboard, processes, and audits to ensure tech reliability and effectiveness

Lead and develop technical teams to maintain, retain and engage technical talent while ensuring safe work practices

Oversee and the installation of advanced technologies and equipment reliability requirements

Establish risk management programs to manage redundancy and business continuity for 24/7 production operations needs

Oversee building facilities requirements in addition to supporting facilities infrastructure for equipment needs

Develop and implement processes, technologies, and equipment improvement strategies to reduce costs and improve safety within the maintenance departments

Support diagnostics for equipment reliability as needed internally and with vendor support

Qualifications:

4+ years' experience in training on a wide range of core Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, and SPC tools in both formal and informal settings for all levels of employees

Experience leading and managing cross functional projects in manufacturing, fulfillment, and/or automation space, specifically with Process Engineering, PLCs, Robotics, etc.

Experience with successful execution of large-scale capital projects and investments, including automation equipment.

Knowledge and experience with Advanced Manufacturing principles.

6 Sigma Black Belt certified, and a practitioner preferred

Superior knowledge of operations processes, mechanical engineering, data analysis, interpretation, and CI principles

Demonstrated experience in training on a wide range of core Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, and SPC tools in both formal and informal settings for all levels of employees

Working knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving techniques

Exceptional customer and industry interface skills

Ability to gather and understand resource information from a variety of sources, including interviews, research, and reports Experience using Manufacturing modeling and simulation software

Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 7 and later, Office 365, and Minitab applications

Excellent interpersonal skills to foster cooperation amongst business partners and coordinate internal as well as external resource/work-load
