Recycling Operator

Advantage Resourcing is hiring a Recycling Operator in Independence, LA, to work for a company that offers economical and environmentally sound hazardous, universal, and industrial waste management through recycling and approved disposal methods. Keep reading to learn more!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am-4 pm, with overtime as needed

Pay: $16.50/hr

The Recycling Operator will be responsible for performing key functions related to the acceptance and unloading of inbound waste shipments, sorting and segregation of waste materials, and preparing and loading outbound waste shipments. This position will prepare batteries for shipment, including duties such as sorting, taping, and bagging different batteries. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of warehouse experience, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
