Job Description

Scope:

  • The individual in this position will work with cross-functional teams that are focused on the delivery of a product from design to release for customers. Developing, defining and executing project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Identifying needed resources for projects and defining and assigning major project roles. Monitoring the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with external customers or field-based employees in technical matters, as needed. Assigning and monitoring work of project/program management staff and providing technical support and direction. Establishing job traveler and developing, defining and executing project plans, schedules, and deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use CAM / Planning tools to perform design rule analysis of printed circuit boards
  • Ability to review DRC analysis reports and determine discrepancies between customer specifications and PCB design image for production
  • Report discrepancies to Planning / CAM department communicating deviations
  • Modify traveler routings and part attribution in part maintenance to ensure customer design requirements are met
  • Modify various aspects of COLT system such as line widths, pad sizes, data codes, etch comp and annular ring to ensure compliance with engineering standards
  • Complete required buddy check paper work, provided detailed feedback on any corrections required and review processes and systems for opportunities to improve the tooling process
  • Monitor planning processes to ensure we are on track and meeting release dates (BBTY, 0002 dispatch, TQ responses)
  • Gather needed information for morning and afternoon status meeting and be ready to answer status questions
  • Accurately complete DFM paperwork
  • Verify all design and special notes are implemented on traveler
  • Resolve any and all design issues immediately as they arise
  • Communicate with process engineering, planning, sales team and customers regarding any and all specifications or issues which arise
  • Complete all internal department documentation accurately

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of Genesis 2000
  • Strong application and working knowledge of PCB features with proficiency with CAM in preparing computer files for manufacturing tooling
  • Ability to interpret IPC and customer supplied specifications
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two to five years of experience with CAM / Planning within the PCB industry

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
