Intern, Data Technical Advisor

The Intern, Data Technical Advisor plays an important role in the overall success of the Campus Support team to assure customer satisfaction with Infinite Campus products. Primary responsibility is to perform data services, including data restores for authorized contacts.

Job Responsibilities



  • Follow department guidelines to perform data restores.
  • Maintain scripts and best practices for customer-facing data services.
  • Troubleshoot the Infinite Campus database and understand cloud-hosted infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other team members to promptly meet the needs of customers and/or peers.
  • Prioritize, communicate, document, and involve all parties impacted.
  • Apply and continuously practice newly introduced knowledge; understand that repeated exercise of new knowledge creates proficiency.
  • Acknowledge and contribute when a situation requires additional input and be flexible/open when others request input from you.
  • Access Infinite Campus production customer data in live sites adhering to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Background



  • Working toward BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
  • Completed at least one database course.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Experience in a support center or service organization.

Position must adhere to the practices and procedures outlined in the master security guidelines.
