General Purpose and Scope of Position:

The Sr. Project Manager has the primary responsibility for managing all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion and is responsible for facilitating and leading cross-divisional strategic project teams. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful implementation of strategic projects, understanding strategic alignment, and advising on changes to improve those processes to fulfill their business needs. This position works with all Business Lines, develops project timelines for implementation, and partners with external third parties in coordinating implementations to achieve desired outcomes. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that the assigned projects meet the business needs by establishing scope documents, budget estimates, timelines, and business value.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or another related field with 5+ years of experience in managing complex and large initiatives
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP certification) desired
  • Strong leadership - Ability to quickly establish credibility and utilize strategic thinking to shape the strategic project team and plan within the functional organization and in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Impact and influence - Ability to influence, develop, and maintain effective internal/external relationships to facilitate change, with and without authority, and ensure cohesion across the organization. Able to promote and secure buy-in from a cross-functional leadership team and peer groups within the organization.
  • Interpersonal effectiveness - Is sensitive to different points of view and seeks to understand and resolve conflicts/issues constructively. Able to operate effectively and comfortably with different cultures, in strange and challenging situations, and to direct and instruct respectfully and politely
  • Thought partnership- Drive projects from both a tactical and strategic perspective, and work with other PMs to manage interdependencies
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite including SharePoint, Teams, Office, Dynamics, and project management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including meeting facilitation.
  • Skilled at eliciting process details from business experts
  • Skilled at analyzing and mapping complex business processes.
  • Strong skills and knowledge of project management methodologies and facilitation techniques
  • Knowledge of design thinking concepts
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to travel up to 30% required

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:



  • Defines, plans, tracks, and manages the projects they are assigned and is responsible for identifying key resources and providing the direction required for meeting the project objectives on time and on budget
  • Manages project schedule and task details and utilizes project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklists, and project management software and to delegate appropriately
  • Ensure that the infrastructure for the project is established for the team to deliver the output; take accountability to drive progress for all tasks; and proactively manage action items, issues, and deliverables.
  • Support the implementation of projects by coordinating with internal and external resources and working with cross-functional departments
  • Facilitates the development of weekly reports to key stakeholders such as Sponsors and Steering Committee
  • Support multiple projects and/or process improvement initiatives simultaneously (in various stages of implementation)
  • Facilitate and lead cross-organizational discussions and meetings
  • Attending training sessions and meetings when necessary
  • Other duties as needed


    Compensation and Benefits:



    • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $89,400 to $125,280. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for commission, vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
