Job Description Overview

We are looking for a Recruiter to join the Sarnova Talent Acquisition team to support our distribution center hiring. The Distribution Center Operations Recruiter collaborates with the Sarnova DC management team to attract exceptional talent for our Nationwide Distribution Center Network. This position is responsible for facilitating the full recruitment cycle including applicant sourcing, interviewing, selection, and new hire onboarding.

Hybrid Position: M&F work from home, T-TH office based

Responsibilities

Summary:

The Distribution Center Operations Recruiter collaborates with the Sarnova DC management team to attract exceptional talent for our Nationwide Distribution Center Network. This position is responsible for facilitating the full recruitment cycle including applicant sourcing, interviewing, selection, and new hire onboarding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to create a consistent flow of diverse top-tier candidates in support of our Nationwide Distribution Network. Positions include but are not limited to Inbound, Outbound, Equipment Operators, Inventory Control, Warehouse Clerks, Warehouse Leadership
  • Proactively source for candidates (active open positions and pipeline)
  • Screen candidates and conduct first round phone interviews
  • Present candidates to hiring managers on a timely basis
  • Coordinate interview schedules
  • Draft and extend employment offers
  • Pre-employment administrative duties
  • Maintain candidate database with a focus on creating a candidate pipeline

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience as a Recruiter, preferably supporting distribution center operations, order fulfilment, warehouse, or skilled trade environments is desired but not required
  • Experience Recruiting for high volume pick/pack operations including Inbound/Outbound, Equipment Operators, Inventory Control, Warehouse Clerks, Warehouse Leadership preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to think differently about recruiting - maximizing our current resources and developing innovative methods to attract talent
  • Strong recruiting skills including strong sourcing experience focused on locating passive candidates
  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work with a sense of urgency
  • Solid interpersonal and communications skills; with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
  • Strong customer service and follow up skills
  • Experience in a high-volume recruitment environment is preferred but not required
  • Computer skills in all Microsoft Office products
  • Strong interviewing skills, ability to determine candidate "fit", successfully working with hiring managers
  • Willingness to recruit for other positions outside of DC Operations as needed
